Re: 69 Olive Verde

I just put that same push start system in my truck with power locks. If you have any questions I'll be glad to help you.

Thanks. I hope it's as good as it looks. Where did you mount everything?

Re: 69 Olive Verde

That works. Did you mount the push start where the old ignition was or elsewhere?

Re: 69 Olive Verde

If you run led brake lights it will interfere with the brake switch signal the module needs. I had to make a bracket with a separate switch just for the push button. Took me 8 hours to figure that one out. Haha

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Couldn't help but throw a few pieces inside to get a feel for the color combos. Also thinking about placing the battery behind the seat.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Thank you. Did get the hood hinges together and started wet sanding the bed sides while going crazy in my head trying to map out all my electrical system for the cleanest install I can possibly do.

Impressive build, keep up the great work. Color choices for exterior and interior are spot on.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Just about got the stand alone harness complete. Have it routed and mounted computer, relays and working on battery bracket under/behind center console. Going to try installing the glass this week as well.

Re: 69 Olive Verde

Got the sound deadener installed and test fitted the seat frame one last time. Going to keep finding other things to do instead of wiring. Sunday I'm going to try to start installing the vintage air unit.
