Re: Master cylinder?

I have found the only way my pics will load properly is to pick "post reply". write whatever I am going to write in thebox, then scroll down to where it says "manage attachments", click that and another window will open that has 5 lines where you can browse your computer's files for the pics you want. one at a time, then hit upload and they should become attached unless the files are too big, in which case there will be a little note that tells you.
how have you been uploading your pics?

Re: Master cylinder?

usually the master cylinder outlet closest to the pedal is the front brakes and the one at the furthest away from the pedal is the rear brakes. try this link for a pic of the typical system.try google images. the pic came from ecihotrods

Re: Master cylinder?

here is another interesting page to check out. it shows a generic master cylinder/prop vale set up along with some other good to know items for guys with different combinations like drum drum, disc drum, disc disc, and disc disc with master under the floor level or only slightly above the caliper level. it is from mbm brake boosters

Re: Master cylinder?

Have a question, is the push rod removable from the hydro? Or do i need to modify it while its attached to the hydro? Thinking if removable i could cut the ring off and thread the round part so i could make an adjustable push rod that is longer with a heim joint on the end. If i cant remove it i'll probably have to cut the ring off and weld a threaded extention on it for a heim joint.
