Talking Vortec Heads and stuff

I thought I was going to build an engine, but I dont see that happening anytime soon. So I've been selling off some of my parst to fund general "sprucing up" of my 86 suburban.

First is a set of 906 Vortec heads I bought with 40k miles on them with rockers. They are clean. $350.

010 (10% tin) 350 4 bolt block. This is the good tough truck block. Virgin Bore and not warped. Comes with the pistons and rods. Its painted red and the valley black, but should go to the machine shop to be cleaned and machined. $125? Comes with engine stand.

Quadrajet carb. Came off my 305 but was majorly rich. I was told it came off a big block caddy. I put a rebuild kit in it, but you may want to clean it up a little more. $50?

I would really like someone to come get these parts in DFW texas.. If you have anything to trade that would work on an 86 Suburban, Let me know. I'm mainly looking for bucket seats, a tube or billet grill, center console, weatherstrip, or??

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
