Orange Trucks... Lets See Em

I am nearing the point of getting my motor up and running and getting my truck driving for the first time in a 7 years. It is stock orange and white, which was repainted once. I have some rust to fix, but I want a plan for my paint. I want a stock look, but something that allows the truck to stand out. It is 2 tone orange and white. I am wondering if maybe I go solid orange? Skip the white. Etc. Let me see some options.

Re: Orange Trucks... Lets See Em

Two tones always stand out, and orange is a pretty bright color...I would repaint it stock, but that's just my opinion.

If you have a custom truck and want something BRIGHT look into House of Kolor Tangelo pearl. It has a nice look as rounded edges rollover on body contours. Pretty spectacular color.

Re: Orange Trucks... Lets See Em

Not mine but i've always liked orange trucks. My 72 was factory orange and i will probably go back to that when i get around to painting it one day. The 3rd pic is a sad pic, saw that truck sitting at a local body shop recently...

My truck is green, but Hugger Orange and white is my all time favorite paint scheme. Medium red looks orange when it fades. See pic.

Re: Orange Trucks... Lets See Em

Mine was white/Hugger orange/white from the factory, but my father in law had it repainted and the lower white was painted orange. I'll eventually repaint the lower white again, since I like it better.

My med red 72’s interior was parchment, but like a black interior with Hugger Orange best.
