Hot air choke has a plate there that bolts on.

this is what I called the plate, but its just where the choke thermostat mounts to the intake manifold at. My 350 with a holly intake has the plate over it, which is in my 1980 Malibu.
I also got the vacuum line hooked up to the A/C canister, while I was up there taking the photos.
