Clutch pivot bolt hole size

Do any of you motor gurus know what size bolt fits in the side of the block where the clutch pivot originally went. I'm trying to make a bracket to keep my plug wires away from the headers. Thanks in advance.

Re: Clutch pivot bolt hole size

naw. i went out there in the dark last night with a 3/8 bolt ( i think) and had to feel around on the block out in the back shed....the hole im talking about is in the block above the oil filter but its a 3/8 (again i think).either that or i picked up a 1/2" bolt in the dark.
ill have to look in the morning and see where i screwed it in....been a long time since ive messed with one mounted to the block
