Wide 5 Spindles

Can anyone point me in a direction to find information on getting wide 5 spindles to fit a 67 C10? I can't find any manufacturers that make a spindle specifically for a C10, and I can't find any information on this forum.

This proves I don't know everything....... What is a wide 5 spindle? I could take a couple of guesses but that sometimes doesn't work.

I think he is talking about spindles that are used on circle track cars

RobNoLimit has done it and he's on this site.

Here's his build from another site.

Re: Wide 5 Spindles

https://howeracing.com/ produces the wide 5 hubs and I believe the spindles....check them out and maybe give them a call....

Will be interesting getting wheels with the correct offsets...virtually all the font suspension will need to be very carefully thought out....

Have fun...

That build and The Official Pro 10 on Instagram gave me the inspiration to look into the wheels as an option. Thanks for the response.

Re: Wide 5 Spindles

We called the bolt pattern on '36 Fords (and other years) wide 5s as well. For circle track the rears are generally full-floating I believe. I would expect the spindles need to be part of that set-up and you adapt from there. Does Speedway offer any set-ups?

Below is a picture of the Official Pro 10. There a quite a few good looking hubs you can buy that fit the wide 5 spindle.

An example of a wide 5 hub:

Re: Wide 5 Spindles

Doing some more digging and getting in contact with the guy who built the pro 10, seems as though the spindle height would cause camber issues and the wheel placement would be too wide. It would be require extensive modifications to the front end which would prove too costly.

I guess Im in need of a late model race truck, and a donor C10 now... Haha. But seriously if anyone has a line on either im open to negotiations.

I meant what vehicle/suspension application. What are those spindles intended to attach to.
