Mega Fuse Mounting Place?
I have a 69 GMC and a American AutoWire kit.
Where did you guys mount the mega fuses? There are lots of options (frame, fender, firewall, ect.) and I can decide on the best. Thanks |

Re: Mega Fuse Mounting Place?
I mounted mine under the heater box close to the right inner fender. Easy to see and easy to replace if needed. I carry an extra fuse in the glove box but have never need it.

Re: Mega Fuse Mounting Place?
Thanks, thats the general area I think I will end up at. I'm thinking lower passenger firewall. With my nice new wire harness I wanna keep it clean.
I'm just wondering what other folks have done. |

Re: Mega Fuse Mounting Place?
That doesn't look like the mega fuse that came with my AAW kit. Here's where I put mine, pretty standard placement.

Just make sure it's close to battery too.

Re: Mega Fuse Mounting Place?
Fuses should always be a close to the source as possible. The shorter the better it will work.
