No matter what the condition or how long she sat, at least she was rescued...

I hope to put it on bags eventually. Hey Sublvr72, do you still have those front drop coils that you had before the bags went in? If so I'd be interseted in buying them.

Is there any kind of truck where the gas tank of a burb is interchangeable with? Like the blazer? Since the truck has been sitting for so long its one of the things i plan on having to replace. Does anybody know a good place w/decent prices where i can get one?

BTW, I should be picking it up saturday afternoon.

Are you looking for front drop coils? I am selling a new set of ECE 2" front drop coils.

Went and got the thing today...man it is rusty, both doors need replaced, the front fenders are probably saveable. The PO said that somebody had hit the back driver corner w/a tractor or something(he lives on a farm) so that needs replaced but luckily I can get those parts. I need all 3 rockers. Surprisingly though the 3rd door is in awesome shape. The interior is pretty messed up, there is a BIG hole in the spare tire spot and apparently a coon or somethin got in there and needless to say, he made a mess of the inside. Seats have custom upholstery but its really dirty, and I need a rear hatch.

I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow, and if I'm lucky maybe I'll have some time to clean it up and get the tank cleaned out, I'd start it but when its sat for 8 years who knows what kind of sludge is in the bottom of the tank. BTW, if someone has a good rust/hole free tank for a decent price I might be interested.

Got quite a bit done on it today. Tank cleaned out, new hoses, seats out, rugs and insulation out, seats out, and then I started cleaning and getting all the spider webs and stuff out. It looks like a totally different truck on the inside now that its clean. Started it up and it ran great. Gotta get a new alt. tomorrow and a u-joint. Need to work on the brakes and get them worked out as well. My brother in-law took a ton of pics but I won't have them for a few days. Although the body is pretty bad, and so is the floor, I'm pretty psyched.

I've got a new set of Rally wheels and tires on it now, as well as rockers and cab mounts to put on. I had to put in a new water pump a few weeks ago, a thermostat and some new hoses. Other than that I've been devoting most of my time to paying other bills and getting ready to go back to school. From what I've seen its basically typical. I went and looked at a parts burban yesterday and it had rust in all the same places. Apparently for this bodystyle its really hard to find a hatch that isn't totally rusted out. I know underneath the spare tire is a common place to rust out aswell.

typical places for rust on these trucks are rockers, spare tire carier, along the front windshield, liftgate, doors, and drip rails.

for the trucks that have seen alot of salt from snowy roads, fenders, body panels, wheel well openings.
