If accurate, no charges.
So in Texas it's ok to haul a horse in a SWB pickup with steel floor, no tailgate, no livestock rack, at 70 mph, endangering not only the horse but others on the road but they'll imprison a person for possessing a little weed? It has nothing to do with cruelty or bad intent. It's purely stupid, careless, inconsiderate, dangerous, and on and on. Horses slip on metal, especially a shod horse. Do they make rubber horse shoes now? My dogs will stand up while driving, which would be a frequent thing. And I've seen them stubble over on an unexpected move, just like you or I would. Then there always could be an unexpected traffic accident with the other driver at fault. When do we know that will happen? That's why we always wear seatbelts

I showed this in another thread. More of a WTF??? Than a WTH?

That's something you usually only see in Subaru commercials. Need pics or better yet, video of your dogs driving.

I have no dog these days, unfortunately. I'll need another once I get too old to drive.

I love the chosen few words took straight to the point with a touch of color a rancher can deliver so well. Just good old cowboy talk. I got that picture

I have this neighbor on my road who is, let's just say, a character. The short & sweet is he's a retired postal carrier, got into old Chevy Trucks, no mechanical talent, went to a rod run and discovered swap meet vending, and got into buyin' and sellin'. He can take something apart but putting it back together never seems to happen. He'll buddy up to someone to help with mechanics, till they get aggravated with him (longer story). He would buy and sell out of The Want Ad, a weekly classified book like what Craigslist is online. He didn't know what he was doing, yet managed to find those who knew less. (ok, it's a longer version) Did pretty well with doubling what he paid. So, that leads to the pictures, in a moment. He'd list something for years until it sold, no budging on the money. He got to where if it didn't sell in a year or so he'd tear it down and sell for parts. OR... he'd get some odd idea about making his place a landmark. He's a legend in his own mind kind of guy. And, he has a little red barn that is smack dab at the side of the road, like 2'. They put a guardrail up it's so close.

First he had this rust free panel truck no one would pay his price for. So he tells me he's thinking about cutting it up and sticking it on the barn. Then he has a solid '50 or so Chevy torpedo back he cuts at the back of the doors and sticks on the wall around the corner. Those body parts are hard to come by and in demand! The car he cut up was decent. Ten or more years later someone must have made an offer he couldn't refuse, it's gone. Now he cut up a pickup because he thinks only the 5 window cab back is worth anything. Long story, but I have a kooky guy down the road, so there was a story behind these WTHs

Ha - it would be funny to get an old car and roll it upside down next to the county road. Maybe for Halloween ?

That makes sense. I wondered if that was a thing since they figured that out for track machinery.

Well, that was 12 years ago, so... a little longer in the face these days.

I could get behind the rolled over vehicle scheme. But with something not so coolish. I could think of a lot of things.

How about leave a shiney chromed up Harley sittin' out near the road under a dim light. Set it up so you could walk right up to it, walk all around it, but as soon as you touch it all hell breaks loose with flashing lights and sirens of all sorts. Kinda funny

Holy crap, good catch, that was Smokey and the Bandit. I was thinking Cannonball Run for some reason. Same overall premise, same director, 4 years apart. They even reference the original .

And yes, that Fall Guy truck was f'n awesome, part of the reason I fell in love with GM pickups as a kid, and why my first pickup was a GM squarebody (1984 S15, sadly, 4cyl manual...)

Re: Post your WTHeck? Pictures

Special-K’s video is crazy. I remember watching that a few years back when the trucker posted his video on YouTube. If I’m remembering correctly the flying trucker was avoiding a potential disaster under the overpass (think a group of cars slammed on the brakes). He chose to take a hard right and go up the hill. He and his passenger were not hurt

Chair lift. I've had a chair lift stop abruptly enough to toss me forward into the safety bar across the front... that they don't have! Not even a foot rest to brace against hoping to catch you.
