Thumbs up Re: Project "Irvin"

Congrats Ben. We had a local show yesterday, I didn't attend, took care of "honey do" stuff then my wife said it was too hot. I had my granddaughter so I kept company with her. Finally got automatic steering column in, new window felts, and mirrors installed. I have new door rubber but going to wait until we install cab corners and rockers. Still chasing battery drain, disconnected the radio, that wasn't it, reconnected a loose wire on gas tank, that didn't solve that problem either, it still only registers between one quarter and half a tank when full. We will have to pull the bed off to take tank out, so I will wait until after Goodguys in Charlotte in October to do that. Hope u r staying busy w/ work, I have a funeral to do tomorrow, then hopefully driving some kids in Driver's Ed the rest of the week. Call ahead and let me know when u will down my way.

Re: Project "Irvin"

Cool, are you going into business for yourself? If so, what are you going to do, specialize in restomods, C10s, paint, etc? Going to be full time?

You'd do a lot better with a good 4L60E. Just thought I'd throw that out there....

Will wonders never cease! A defector from the "Long Bed Mafia". I would have never guessed. I'm buying a blue '67 from Tenn. Trying to setup transport, too far for me. I will be in touch for advice, I know you are booked. Time is short before "Run to the Sun" at Myrtle Beach.
