Re: 5/7 drop ext cab setup

For the most part, it will depend on the tires you run. Mine with a 4" had scrubbing issues on big bumps. Got to where I would cringe when I saw it coming. HATED that sound!

So I put on 2" smaller dia. tires and added a 1" lift spacer to the spring. Same stance but much more clearance and no rubbing.

Re: 5/7 drop ext cab setup

When I run 255/45/17's I get no rubbing even loaded down. With 245/50/17's I will rub the passenger side tire on the bolt that holds the air cleaner. Removed that and it only rubs on big bumps when loaded down.

Re: 5/7 drop ext cab setup

My square body truck has a 5/6 drop and I get some tire rub though not much for me to worry about but I had to cut a notch out for my DJM control arms to clear from hitting the inner wheelhouse. When the money presents itself though, I will be taking out that djm arms and replacing them with CPP most likely. I have terrible alignment issues with those djm arms
