Up here in Soggy OR a drain hole (or two) is a must. Anyone consider a carefully cut, close fitting, removable plate made from diamonplate or better yet Choicedeck ( the 12" wide 5/8" thick stuff i used on my bed). Could anchor either with carefully placed drain holes and stainless carriage bolts. The latter might be fixed to the plate. Both are non slip. Just thinking (oww!)
