Re: Starting on Ol Blue'.... Heres my thread.

Back in the interior I finally got the glue off the floor and got it cleaned up. Got the gas tank out and had it repainted and sealed. Also put in new seal/sending unit/lock.

Cleaned the floor with metal prep and brushed on two coats of POR 15 to keep her rust free.

After that I installed my dynamat extreme kit and went in perfect. Had just enough left to do the wall behind the gas tank as well.

Re: Starting on Ol Blue'.... Heres my thread.

I painted some more interior parts with trim flat and they turned out nice.

Yesterday I replaced my gas tank sending unit wires and also my dome light wire. It looked to be spliced about 4 times through the years and needed to be done!

Now I will be starting to finish dissassembling the dash for paint. I already started cleaning/sanding the doors and getting ready to prime/seal/paint.

I finally got my personalized plates as well! Pretty excited about those for some reason. haha.

Thanks for reading.

Re: Starting on Ol Blue'.... Heres my thread.

I painted all the doors (all new panels, armrests, felt, handles, carpet), painted dash, painted cowl grille and windshield trim.... Damn pics are too big and won't work but the one with the completed door works?

Re: Starting on Ol Blue'.... Heres my thread.

Messing with the motor a lil bit and put on a new K&N Air cleaner and billet specialties thermastat housing... Also took off the alternator and painted all the brackets, shroud, core support, etc... Getting ready to order a chrome alternator to match the motor better. Replaced the radiator hoses and ordered new belts for the a/c, crankshaft and alternator.
