Wonder if shaving the drip rails around the doors would make the x-cab section seem a little more integrated into the rest of the cab?

Re: extended cab?

one of my worst regrets was selling mine. the one i had was called "the contractor special" since it did not have the jump seats in the extended part, at least that is what i was told. they are different but up close they just dont look right. all cvi done was took a standard lwb truck and cut the bed down. if you look at the area past the rear wheel you notice that it is long, then if you look at the stake pockets it has two in the middle and two at the back and none in the front and then the bed is 6 1/2 foot. crawl under it and look at the floor pan of the cab you notice that the extended part is channeled like the bed. as far as the interior, it looks totally like factory. only made in 1985. i put a 1990 burb grill and core support in mine every one wanted it, unfortunately for me some one wanted it more than i did and paid me for it. i sold it for $8500 in 1997, he repainted it and flipped it to some one that gave it to their kid. i tried to buy it back but they wouldn't sell it. around a year later i found it at a local impound lot auction totaled

Re: extended cab?

They were made 84-86 mostly with a few 83s and some holdover 87s. Ive seen extended crewcabs made until 90, if I remember right.

I do think removing the drip rail will help the look alot. Thats in my plans at least. The truck posted in Hebron is an extremely nice truck. Its been built right.
