Escalade EXT AWD/C10 Swap???

I just got me a 04 Escalade. I want to do a AWD c10 also but unsure on which way to go. how did yours turn out?

There's a guy who put a 4x4 Trailblazer frame under his C10, and scored a awd transfer case. To my eye it looked slightly easier, but also allowed easier rim selection. Due to the whole thing being narrower then the full size platform.

Personally I would like to try a Ford Expedition frame with IRS if I was to venture so far.
