Re: Should I buy this?

You can do what is called a bonded title in Texas and get the title if you wanted it cost around $300 to do but it is a fully negotiable title. You can get the info at your local tax assessor- collecter office

Re: Should I buy this?

A title company in Texas quoted me 500 for a bonded title. I may try and do the paperwork myself.

I am not sure of the gear ratio or if it is posi. I do however know that it is a 12 bolt.

Re: Should I buy this?

Its really easy. You get a surety bond which can be around 100-200 and then you also have to get a letter of rejection from tx dot and with those two items you can get the title. I did it for 2 vehicles. It stays as a bonded title for 2 years then it becomes a regular title after that. Look on tx dot website for a more detailed description of how to do it.
