Re: What's the dumbest thing yall done lately? Lessons Learned?
I spent a day chasing a surging problem that felt like and made me think it was a fuel problem in the wifes Blazer. Still doing it after cleaning fuel system, has a year old fuel pump, does it more when it warms up but still somewhat intermittent. Finally figured it out. It had a slight leak at the tranny line on the radiator and had gotten low enough the 700R4 was hunting OD and lockup. Tranny surge not fuel.

Most of mine start with.. "I was in a hurry "
Doing a high speed oil change, ended up with 2 seals on the oil filter. Started it up and warmedown a bit, no leaks. Made it 2 miles before she blew! Got lucky and shut it down with no obvious damage.. Always in a damn hurry for one reason or another
