Look here the build thread has found its way back on course. LOL about the build up of grease and dirt on the ball joints. Mine was the same way and thanks to the invention of the power washer or I would been all day cleaning them. Oh and those yellow plug wires are awesome. You could set the distibutor in the seat beside you while driving they are so long.

That's funny. My first thought when I saw those was that I never considered using the brake lines as plug wire looms. Good engineering there to minimize any extra pieces, double up the purpose of whats already there.

Sorry still no steady work for you. I run pizzas when I need extra money, I can make around 12-15hr...
Get some shiny paint on that thing, light green/dark green or whatever color one of your spids of choice may say. Keep on it. More pics...

I considered that but my brother in law managed pizza places around here and his drivers and the other pizza huts/little ceasars/dominos drivers all avg'd closer to 10/hr (our area must have bad tippers)....after gas/wear and tear that's not much....

add to that my only vehicle is a 2000 odyssey minivan with almost 200K miles and needs brakes/tires/etc...and it doesn't add up to me...

The thread junkie comes from me being a team member...check out threads for any "funny business" and while I'm there I like to comment when I see a nice project or cool pictures. That and buying/selling on here is a lot of the posts....then, I never unsubscribe so I end up getting crazy amounts of email notifications so I can follow all the build threads on here....like yours

Right now I'm working on the consoles and restoring some bucket seats while waiting on some more parts....also have my engine/tranny on craigslist to see if they sell so I can put my 350/350 in....

Also ordering lowering springs and spindles. I have a 5 lug front brake kit and all new suspension and will put that on the truck. So the build's shifting from a shoestring budget to a pretty nice truck build....still not much cash investment on my part....but without the huge parts lot I have it wouldn't be a "budget build"

I get it. I used to bit*h at 12-15hr, but with the economy in the tank, it ain't so bad...The Dominos I p/t at pays a buck a delivery for gas. Sometimes I leave with 5 deliveries and it takes only 1/2 hr to get back and load up again...Some tip some don't, I've spoken up to those who don't(not supposed to, but). Good with the bad...I'm still broke though

Are the sport mirrors nos? I'll take em if so...I'm liking the vac gauge cluster also I want the gauge. You have a bunch of stuff I want, but not necessarily need.

I've done pretty well on craigslist. I have a few pair of NOS mirrors. You need to come down to see my bigger collection now

Thanks, should be a very solid truck and very nice since I'm having it painted at a professional body shop and sprayed in their booth

Now will have all new suspension components, new power steering, new power brakes, new tilt, restored tach, and a bunch of other nice new and restored used parts

power steering I bought off the board...can't remember which year. I also have what I believe to be a new one but not sure how to test it other than bolting it on and trying it....this one was working well according to the member.
