This is the only diecast 67-72 truck, larger than a hot wheels, that I know of in a stepside (last pic). There is a stamped steel truck in stepside, a couple versions seen below.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

The local target today had the 10 packs of hot wheels with the new blue flamed trucks. There was probably 10 of them here. I got one pack cause it had a few others I like (cobra, mach I mustang, GTO). None of the 2 packs had the truck though, and I must have looked through 40 or 50 of them.

hgs_notes, How did you get your hands on a '67 stepper? I've looked EVERYWHERE!!! We have the '69, but would love the '67 for son's truck.

On rare occasions they are on ebay, I got mine through a board member that had an extra for sale. It was a toys-r-us exclusive Americam Mucle truck. Good luck man.

Yep, seen them on ebay and at some hobby stores for about a year or so now. I'll be getting one now, thanks for the reminder.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

hey guys, i'm new to this site and relatively new to customizing toy cars, but i have done a few, my favorite is a Hot Wheels Custom '69 Chevy Truck, i didnt do too much being as it already looked great, i simply stripped the lime green paint off, and resprayed it with true blue pearl paint, yes i primed it first and such, all prep work was done, and i changed the wheels to some much better wheels, i also have a 57 panel truck repainted with candy apple red, but it had a lil accident when someone decided to play rough with it, so it needs a repaint, aslo an early 50s chevy truck in the same color, but it was also in the same accident, my display case was left open and they rolled out on to the floor and got kicked around cuz no one in my house seems to care, but anyways heres a picture or 2 of the '69

The blue with flames 69 stepside are out on the hangers singley now. They are number 4 of the "Hot Trucks" series. (Purple stripe down the side of the card). WES
