Yeah. I painted them thinking I would be putting them in a long time ago, but the truck was in pieces for so long I just forgot about them

i was about to say there really is no reason to take em out now your problem will be getting them bolted in yuo need to get small bolts so the trim can fit on top of them

I made a little more progress last night, got the hood wet sanded and painted again so I'm waiting for that to cure. I don't think I'll get pics until tomorrow but I'm really hoping to get it running this week end we shall see how things go.

Thanks a lot man! It is painted with Rustoleum paint you can buy it at most hardware stores for pretty cheap. Didn't want to spend a whole lot to get her painted.

mines with krylon satin black and didnt turn out nearly as good as yours. yours looks like it was sprayed professionally out of a gun

Thanks! It's not perfect but it looks pretty damn good considering how much i paid for paint and I sprayed it with a $20 spray gun from harbor freight

dude it looks real all you need is the drille hoops and it will look done have you already ordered the park light lenses and gaskets

I haven't ordered those yet. I still have the originals but they are faded and the gaskets are pretty much toast. For now I'll probably put those in and I'll order some new ones soon after I get it running.

Definitely! I was going to get it jan. 3rd (my birthday is july 3rd) but I have been too busy and I wasn't looking forward to going to DMV either lol
