67cheby,
Have you thought about a color for the finished product? I noticed in the build that the Tubs were kind of a baby blue color, is that what your thinking about going with?

IMO Mercedes and BMW have the best looking "silvers" out there, nice choice on the color.

Saw the buggie on Craigslist today, it looks killer hope you get her sold. And you DO have an excuse, it's called 104 degrees in the shade!!! Same one I've been using for weeks, no amount of shiney new parts can trump the heat!

you are not kidding about the heat.... its killer. I own a mobile detailing company and we are dieing out there. Today was heat index of 108..... that sucks. No energy or sweat left to work on the truck.

67cheby,
Silver is really growing on me since I shot my Sons 69. I cant waite to see your truck complete, that thing is going to look sweet. Im trying to find the right Blue for the Two Tone I want to do on my 67 ShortWide. I found a car at a show but the guy wouldn't give up the color code. I want something between a meduim blue Metalic and a Dark Blue Metalic. If I knew more about mixing colors I could probably come up with something. I found a Blue I like on a newer 2000 + Siverado SS Pickup but its not dark enough. I wonder if I had the paint store add black to that color if it would turn into the color Im wanting. That could be an Expensive Experiment. I still have a half a gallon of the silver I used on my Sons 69 so thats what I am going to use on the 67 for the silver.

Man, I got to see this thing in person yesterday. I must say, Mike knows what he is doing. That thing is sick!!! The details are just amazing. I can't wait to see it together myself.
And thanks to Mike for loaning me his factory hood hinges to help me with my hood issues.
May you sell your dune buggy soon and sink the moola into that ride!!
