Re: Daverods project 66

Wahoo!!!
My old tranny is sitting on the garage floor tonight. Spent all darn day learning about tilt columns. I could not get it back together where it was not loose. Finally when I found an exploded view I could see , I had a piece in backwards. Works good now. Steering wheel is on and every thing. Truck is lifted up and on jackstands now and it is Transmission time.
Dave, look out -- I'm catching up --- I would post a picture but I haven't figured out how yet!!

Do it this way Right click on the picture properties is at the bottom, select all , then copy the address and paste between the two img things. Take lots of pictures so I'll know what to do. Good work.

Man, you gave away the secret. You don't want to be like me, just ask my wife.

He's not going to fork up the 7 cents away. Your secret is safe. I think your buddy is trying to fix his tailgate with a tree.

Re: Daverods project 66

that e-brake teeter/totter arrangement on the back brace is different! Do both old frame braces have to come out? I have a new mount for the TH350.

It cost $25 to learn the secret. It's at the top of the page under subscribe. It works out to $25/360=.069. Just round it off to 7 cents a day.

You blamed that on your friend. That was probably your first weld job. No crack in my pipe. I have a prescription. I wish. My god. That thing is a work of art you should be proud of your work. HaHaha No wait there's more Hahahahha

Re: Daverods project 66

Hey Daverod this is spud truck I'm up by Rexburg. Just some Fyi there are two trucks at Cross's Crashes in the Falls. One is a 63 big window and I think the other is about a 65 GMC. There is also one at Holst truck parts I think it was a 65 chevy. Can't remember what trans they had in them. There is also another 65 on Craigs list in Rigby it has some pretty cool looking old school slotted mags. It was 400 obo. Just thought I'd let you know. By the way what an awsome build thread.

Cool welcome Is this cross place a car lot? Da crashes. It must be a junk yard. I heard the Falls have good yards. I saw the one on craigs. Is that spud truck your daily driver?
