Re: Any other projects in your garage?
The interior is being re-done on the Rambo.
1969 AMC Rambler American Nostalgia Pro/Street. (Canadian Made) Brampton, Ontario, Canada http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rambler_American 1969 Rambler American Sedan Since its introduction "the Rambler American has done well at American Motors." For its final model year, 1969, the "American" name was dropped as the car was now referred to as the "American Motors Rambler". Continuing the tradition of minimal changes, the models received a new "suspended" accelerator pedal and throttle linkage. Additional safety equipment for the 1969 models included front shoulder belts and headrests for both front outboard seating positions and the front parking lights stayed on with the headlights. On the exterior, the center horizontal chrome grille bar was deleted. As a true compact-sized car on a 106 in (2,692 mm) wheelbase, the Rambler station wagon had no domestic competitors, and it offered interior space advantage compared to imported models with its 66 cubic feet (1,869 L) of cargo space. Available only in 440 trim, the wagons came with a roll down rear window with drop-down tailgate, as well as a roof rack. In part to commemorate the impending passing of the Rambler name, American Motors added the Rogue-based SC/Rambler to the line (detailed separately). A total production for the 1969 model year was 96,029. The last U.S.-made Rambler was assembled in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on 30 June, making the production total of 4,204,925 units. After the 1969 model year, a completely redesigned model, the AMC Hornet, replaced the American. XXXL - 3264X2448 https://o021ag.blu.livefilestore.com...830.jpg?psid=1

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
65 A code Mustang. Bought this car in 1984 for $500. Must have put only 6000 miles since I rebuile the engine. It has 10/5:1 compression and as close to stock of a cam as I could get. it is a bit hotter then stock. I was able to run a 15 sec 1/4 but really could not get into the throttle as it would just spin the tires. Needs new gearing and posi for sure. It has factory front disc brakes and a 4 speed tranny along with the 4 barrel carb. I still have all the factory engine stuff including the carb. I am going to be working on it next after my truck as I want to start driving it next June when I register it. It has not been registered since 1996 but has been on Cal Non op..

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
S&H Custom Auto restored trunk. Need to put in seal and spare tire. There seems to be some question to where the jack is located. Some say it attaches to tail panel.

Re: Any other projects in your garage?
Finished my 66 Chevy C10 in Jan of 2012 (took 13 months). Then I did my 73 Montego MX. This was a frame-on resto.
Now working on a very rare 1972 Montego GT 429 (N code). 1 of 202. Only one with all the options it came with. a few hours after I painted it. 2-1 This is about it's current state. It's been 7 months since I started. The wheels are just 'roller wheels'. They came with the car. Plan on just going with Magnum 500's. Also the stance will be lower. More pics for those who are interested see 'monthly updates' toward the top of the page.
