No, I moved the location of the A-arms to narrow the track width.

Re: Project '86

Nice to see the truck back together. The image with both doors opened brings out your hard work on the chop. Great work man truly an awesome truck. Makes me wish I had the time to get the back of mine on the ground.

Re: Project '86

heres an old photo of my 1975 chevy pick up I had after highschool. I had sold it and bought it back. the guy I sold it to had pro streeted it and chopped up the frame really bad. I ended up rebuilding the box and recut and cleaned up the chop, and ended up selling the truck to a close friend a few years back. I got it back about a week ago! I had built a chassis for it using the stock crossmember and ended up selling it to another friend. future plans are to build a new frame and Ive always wanted it black with old school flames. I think I will keep it this time! lol on this truck the door glass was moved back into the door and the vent windows were removed and made of flat glass and ureathaned into place. worked well. anyway check out my most recent project!

not sure honestly...I just know they had manual and powered bear claw latches...I got the powered ones also. I assume the popper has to be stronger on the manual ones. I have a small popper to get the door open as wide as I want (when I get to that project

Re: Project '86

The powered ones you are talking about just have the actuator mounted directly to the latch. I don't have that kind, my actuators will be remotely mounted. You don't really need any type of popper to get the door open. The bear claw latches open with enough force to push the door open a bit.

Too bad you can't make it out for the show and yes my truck will be there. No excuse for missing a show in your home town.

Don't leave us hanging like that.

How's the baby doin? Getting much sleep? I had to take my girl to hospital yesterday was running 104* temp. Not good for a 1yr old. They don't know what caused it but pumped some ibuprofen through IV and she's good to go.

Let's just say I wanted 22's but found some 20's that I had to jump on. They will give me a little more fender clearance up front anyways

The baby is doing great, thanks for asking. Sleep is kind of hit or miss but he is getting the hang of it.

Trying to make a good push on it before Risen. My wife goes back to work after Labor day so whatever I get done between now and then is all that is going to happen for a while.
