I think it looks great! (not just good) As nice as March stuff is, the way it looks now is far more unique.

Thanks, it was quite some work to get them ready and painted. I first painted them a semi-gloss black and wasnt too impressed. The aluminum castings had too many imperfections that would show up. Then I tried to lightly spray them in bed liner. That turned out looking perfect. And I have high hopes for the MSD setup, I will update.

Sure like it. Might try that on the Mrs. 5.0 pulley brackets. Which liner brand?

Duplicolor bed liner spray. It is a light smooth texture that looks right in place. I'm thinking of doing the frame rails in it also, and either gloss or semi gloss on all the bolt on accessories to have a more contrast. I haven't decided on painting the control arms, linkages on the rear end, etc red or black...would like some input on that...

I did my GM serp set-up similarly. I removed casting flash & seams. Then I DA'd everything I could. I primed them & did some gloss black....

Yuck.

I stripped them down & did more detail grinding, sanding, more DA work, & then I sandblasted them to get consistent texture on everything. After that I had them powder coated gloss black & they turned out very slick. The tough part now was getting the alt, power sterring pump, & A/C comp to closely match. Alt & pwr steering pump turned out good. Haven't attempted the A/C comp yet.

My buddy wants a set done for his sons ElCamino. I told him it was a PITA but the texture approach seems like it will make it much easier.

Yup I haven't decided what I'm going to do with the compressor yet. The power steering pump will be red and alternator blacked out.

Increadible build so far bud and will be a killer truck with alot of story behind it with trouble you have had with it, glad to see everything is working out and cant wait to see it finished
