Cool. One less mod they'll need for my application.

looking at it closer you might just need to trim the end of it a little and relocate the front bolthole to clear the tubz , if someone could make a paper template of the inner fender cut you would know for sure

too bad the front arm isnt reversable (swinging towarth the bulkhead)

Not sure if it has been answered... How large of a wheel will fit under there? If I lay out on a 30" wheel/tire combo will it fit?

the only way i know to answer this is by you measuring the top of your tire off of this picture ? Does your come up higher then that ?

i really think you would probably have to make a pocket in it for it to clear, i apologize i forgot about this, one way to do it would be buy another junk ac box and cut the tubz and mold that part of the extra box into the tubz for clearance....hmm maybe i need to do this !

Would love to see it when you get it done, SCOTI. In the meantime, I'll go attempt to do something with fiberglass.

If you do, I'm all over it. If not, I'll wait to see what SCOTI does. I don't know how much demand there would be for it since most folks this low are bagged or show trucks. I'm static dropped fairly low and I drive mine daily. I'd have a hard time giving up my A/C

Exactly. My 74 had to have factory height bumpstops in place to limit travel just to keep the control arms bushings from smacking the ground & the tires from buzzing the tops of the fenderwells. It was ok on decent roads but flat sucked sometimes on 'bad' roads.

The dually will utilize taller tires as well as a notched x-member. The x-member will allow greater travel w/o rubbing. More travel + taller OD tires means contact even sooner than before. The additional height of these tubs will eliminate that problem & should only require mild 'tweaking' to clear the OE a/c box & fan motor (I'll might re-locate the accumulator as well).

Scoti, shoot me your address ! And if you do modify the passenger side to fit around the ac box, maybe we can work something out, where i can pull a mold off of your modified part ?

just got thinking maibe if you get an extra outer shell for the aircon / heater unit you can use that to make the dimple in those tubz
basicly put it on a flat piece of concrete ply make fill some of the corners so they are wide enough to pull the mould off and to alow the cool heat part to be removed with the tub in place , slather the whole thing in wax and celcoat and make a negative mould use that to make the dimple for the actual unit cut a hole in the tub until the piece fits perfect and glass it in from the bottom and sand flat on top that way you can use cellcoat on the outside/ visible side and need to do a lot less sanding
