Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

I just finished up installing the Ez Air Ride kit on my 64 C10 and it was pretty easy to install... I have never installed one before and i talked to Steve and he was great and very helpful!!! Smooth transaction and quick shipping...
I did it in about 6 hours one Saturday morning!

No C notch and that's all the way down with the stock suspension. The rear end will drop all the way down on the frame with out the rear end hitting the wood bed. So it still looks stock when aired up.

The kit really is bolt on. It's simple and easy and amazing! The truck looks awesome. Notches and such do take more time! I did step notches disc conversion with drop spindles that's why I'm not finished should be by Saturday though. Ez ride is the way to go and love your truck man

Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

Am I missing something with the basic kit, ie no picture of a valve like in the ultimate kit so how do you control the air to each corner. I may just be being thick here.

Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

you control each wheel with the paddle Valves on the gauge panel it does not have the valves like the more expensive kit so it's not as fast up and down but it works just fine and saves a lot of money! I'm not into trying to slam it up or down real fast just like to sit down low and cruise...

Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

Probably @ 3-4 seconds up or down? The back goes up faster because of less weight but goes down slower than the front. It all depends on the weight? Front down faster but up slower and just the oppisite in the rear? Hope this helps!!!

Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

Just checking the truck over today and making sure everything will fit properly and noticed that the passenger rear wheel is closer to the inner wheel well than the drivers side one. I'm concerned that when we fit the air ride kit the passenger side wheel will rub against the wheel well. I have no idea why its closer and the only thing I can think of doing is to add wheel spacers but not sure if that's the right thing to do. Any advice or opinions appreciated.

Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

sounds like you may have a rIm with a different offset then the rest of them? I would check that first see what the backspacing is and then check the others.

Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

they did the first night cause I just threw it all together but after I took it apart and re did it no. make sure you Teflon every fitting even the screw on fittings to the back of the gauges, and make sure your hoses are all cleanly cut going into those plastic fittings

Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

Yes stock trailing arms and bags in place of the coils, fully aired out there's about 4-5 inches from the rear end to the top of the notch. I got the step notch to be safe and eventually lay frame

Re: EZ Air bags, anyone familiar?......

Great pics of the EZ ride. Did you happen to take any pics of the install. I'm sure we would all like to see how it was done, with this particular kit. Did the bolt on C notch come with the kit or did you get some where else? And how is the ride?

Thanks Legotech7...........
