Did anyone mention a metal or plastic replacement for the cardboard glovebox?

Original cruise control vacuum parts, servos and transducers. Its getting very hard to find the right stuff that is still good.

Re: What parts aren't out there?

I would like to see a matching set of woodgrain pieces for the Dash Bezel, Glovebox door, and door panel inserts for super cheyennes. All these pieces are available, but not from the same manufacturer. It would be nice if the patterns and color were the same.

Does anyone have a Blazer windshield frame; and how much of the top of it normally needs to be replaced?

Re: What parts aren't out there?

The shaved panel woould be for aftermarket air trucks and guys not running factory air whether they run aftermarket or not.
Suburban and blazer bedsides are also in demand. The area around the rear doors on Burb's and panels also rusts out.The cab roof I was thinking of is the complete top from driprail back to the seam.Windsheild surrounds for all models where the steel rusts under the seal.A complete floorpan from rocker to rocker would be nice, rather than piecing one together(if it will fit in the truck that way).
One thing about all of the sheetmetal that has been mentioned,IT HAS TO FIT!!!!!Much of the aftermarket stuff is very good like factory it has to be slightly tweaked, but some of it is so bad you would be better off starting from scratch.

THAT'S TRUE. THE GUYS WANTING SHAVED COWLS GENERALLY SEEM TO BE RUNNING AFTERMARKET A/C UNITS, WHICH DO NOT REQUIRE A FRESH AIR INLET. THEY RECIRC. THE AIR IN THE CAB.

I'D 2ND FRIZZLE'S SUGGESTION OF A PLASTIC GLOVE BOX LINER.

Suburban rear seat holdown brackets, suburban arm rest brackets, no one is making the windshield wiper pivot arms, air vent rods for the inside, rear suburban door window vents,,hmmm suburban fuel filler necks,,,would love to see some grommets for the 3 speed shift levers.

Re: What parts aren't out there?

How about a repop of the Dash Bezels but without the holes for the gauges? That way someone could make the holes needed for the gauges they want to use. Also maybe some shims to go between the hinges and the door for those that need to bring the door back a bit but don't want to remove the door to adjust the inner hinge bolts.

Yes but you could retain the same texture with a repop.

Big block clutch linkage. Particularly the z-bar. No one makes one and I really need one.

Re: What parts aren't out there?

I don't know who all has said this, but I could really use a 1967 IGNITION SPACER.

NOT bezel, S-P-A-C-E-R (The ones for 1968-1972 are WRONG for 1967)

Sorry for yelling, but I'm a little tired of reaching under the dash to find my ignition! If you'd like, I completely blue-printed the damn thing on AutoCAD and could send you dimensions, section views, and 3D models of it! Just make me one! (And make it affordable, if you'd be so kind).

SWB bed floors, glove box compartments, 67-72 full wheel covers, the factory air box (that changes from floor, vent, defrost),tailgates, anything else that they quit making.

Re: What parts aren't out there?

I think a stock cowl would be good. I know they don't rust as bad as some of the other sheetmetal parts, but how many do you see thet have big ugly torn up antenna holes in them? And, if you are looking for small parts to reproduce, how about windshield washer nozzels?

Is that inner bedside around the wheel house a common problem area?

shows how much i know! i don't understand the purpose of the vents for the cowl? i am going to be running ac in my '72, i am assuming that from your comment that the vents in the cowl play a part in getting air into the truck?? i apreciate your patience. sorry if i am not up to your guys level...

thanks!
