Denee, you've done a great job keeping everything in perspective. It's BEAUTIFUL!

Re: Ideas for an air cleaner?

Next installment on my cold air box. Needs the K&N on the front for final fit before it goes to the polisher. This asymmetrical look might not be for everyone and it's a first for me but I'm kind of pumped about how it's turning out....and the hood closes!

Smooth, clean, an engineering feat.
That's how I describe it.

Re: Ideas for an air cleaner?

Thanks for the positive comments and now I want to throw out the final idea. I want to bring in some body color starting with the white/turq pearl in the rear of the top(flat) only where the box sits in the hole I had to make in the firewall. Would also include some of the turquoise color. In my vision, it would cover about 1/2 of the surface ot the top only with more at the back and less at the front like maybe an exagerated bell curve since these trucks are all about complememting curves. It would give a little LS vibe except leave the best parts of the engine visible. Everything else would be polished, including the baffle that will separate the filter from the radiator. The guy who painted the truck is quite artistic, not my strong point, and seems to be able to translate my visions into reality. The other option, of course, is all polished. You "probably" won't change my mind but I am looking for thoughts, ideas, input if you have any to offer. I'm not quite sure how to handle the intake tube on one side only. Don't think it needs attention drawn to it, but it IS there and should be reflected in the design.
