Im not a 100% sure but I think the frames are differant,Even if they arent I know its a lot of work...So imo you would would probably be better off finding one online and taking a road trip

It shouldnt be much different than doing a SFBD. Just cut the frame off the front of a 2wd truck of the same body style, and run boxed tubing back to the kick-up. You could even keep the 4X rear end. just change the front to 6 lug.

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons

yes, they are hard to find... i will definitely agree with that.... mine has a few little issues... but i have fixed numerous problems with it since i bought it.....

and i was very glad it was sold to me, I had tried to buy it from the same co-worker a year or more ago....

thought about doing the 2/4 drop one day.... how does it ride?

I stumbled onto mine when i wasnt even looking for one but it was the right price. When i first bought it the truck truck rode like crap because the previous owner didnt notch it or have the proper lenth shocks.I have fixced both issues and it rides as well as stock. Im going down to 4/6 soon so im sure that will not be the case anymore lol.

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons

I picked up this little gem back in January, didn't really have the time for another project right now, But they practically gave it to me. Here it is the day I drove it home:
[IMG][/IMG]
Then after a quick rinse and ditched the running boards:
[IMG][/IMG]
The previous owner put in an auxillary trans cooler, but apparently didn't realize you have to use hose clamps on the cooler lines. Once the fluid level and pressure dropped, the 3-4 clutches promptly gave up on life.

The interior was filthy, but in very good condition. They have taller tires on the front than on the back and the engine is leaking at the intake and rear main seal, But I can't complain, I got it cheap enough to look past all of its "issues".

i used 2 inch drop spindles and 2 inch springs in the front. out back i used a flip kit, hangers, and drop shocks. all of the products are djm. i actually found a deal locally and got everything including the shocks new in the box for 500 bucks. ive yet to install a c notch due to the fact that ive got plans to body drop it in the near future and it will require me to use a bigger notch and cut the floor up so im just trying to buy sometime. the truck only gets driven one day a week so it not being notched doesnt effect me on a daily basis.

It sits perfect but I bet it doesnt ride very well ,Mine want even that low and need a notch. Either way I want mine to sit just like that.

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons

Some updated pics ,Im not happy with the back id like to bring it down another inch.I couldnt use the top hole on my drop shackles because it was hitting the gas filler neck so I cut the top of the shackle to get clearance.
