I started to ask about him the other day and got off onto something else.

I did some research that day and I think it's been a year since he posted.

A little update for ya guys. To day the nausea stayed mellow and I had an appetite. The doctor gave me permission to go outside for a walk tomorrow. So my girlfriend took tomorrow off so she could escort me outside for the first time in ten days!!!

Good stuff there Dale. Hope the weather holds out and you get some sun up there for your walk. Stay strong bud.

Thanks for keeping us updated.

Re: Hijack Thread

I'm glad the nausea has subsided. Stuck in there ten days, no cute nurses, no appetite, that's a long stretch. Each good thing is ahead and waiting. It might feel like the first time all over again for everything.

Thanks for catching on to my Dukes of Hazzard obsession.
My wife says I have (way to many) vehicles.
So I would be in trouble if I bought more than just the glove box door.

Good luck to ya Flashed ,,,

Reminds me of one time when I was in a tavern way back then and a guy said he had a 41 ford pickup ..I said how much you want for it ..he says "you don't have enough money to buy it from me " I said " I don't know .,try me ..

Anyway when all was said and done ,,I got it for $300 ..a chain hoist and a thermadore 220 heater..and a handsaw or some small tool ,,, now this was 1971 I think ,,but a few beers helped me on this one ,,,,,,,,,so you might want take case of his favorite drink out and have a few then go to dickerin...lol

The wife and I headed out to the range today. The sign says "pick up your brass". Where does one of mine land? Yep, they are still running cattle out there!

In spite of the obvious joke about the "brass" at one's place of employment, I'd say that this one is also probably full of bull.

Re: Hijack Thread

My hopes on getting the truck are dimming , the farmer called me and said he is afraid to sell it for fear of pissing off another guy that wants it for less that is bullying him . He said the guy told him he better sell it to him or else and for half of what I offered . And I offered premium money for it .

Re: Hijack Thread

Screw that. Are you sure this old farmer isn't a tall tale teller? He doesn't have to let some guy muscle him into selling a truck for half it's value or at full price. Or else? Or else what? Or else will land that guy in jail is all
