Thanks for the complement on the car. Its definatly the type of car that would see the light of day nowadays. You would never see a rwd transaxle sedan, let alone a senior compact with that setup from the new GM. Yea that perplexed me to right when they were just starting put the excitement back in the excitment division they shut it down. Same thing befell Oldsmobile right before the OSV cars were scheduled for production they axed it. I can see them getting rid of Hummer, Saab, and Saturn, even though the brand never saw its real true potential.

My "terrible wrapper" 08 Silverado might get parked so I can drive the Volvo if I ever finish the windshield install.

best car i ever owned

A tired warrior of the 1980s in a world of low profile tires, front wheel drive, and plastic bumpers, where people stay in their houses until snowplows move the offending substance from their paths, too helpless to travel without AAA and chains and salt, clearing their windows with longhandled brushes while gently stepping around in the snow trying to stay nice and dry.

Re: I wanna see your Daily Drivers

This is my daily 88 burb(sig). 12mpg no matter how heavy(or light)my foot is. Yippee!

I love it! I've done 20+ over the speed limit past cops with their radar on me, they just wave! I get wave's from everyone. It's just another good reason to buy an ex cop car.

Haven't seen another in what way? '63 Lemans/Tempest? or V8/auto? Or 4 door?

There's quite a few here in Southeast Michigan.

At any rate, here's mine:

Also a V8 auto. Not a daily driver, though....
