Wood grain trim because it is a Cheyenne!!! Actually it is a 1972 Chevrolet C-10 Cheyenne Crew Cab. That's a lot of Cs.

The light of day!!! Young Frankenstein hadn't seen that in quite some time. I'm thinking it turned out pretty good if I can read a magazine before I even buff it out.

Can you see me?

Time to move on to the bed. No rest for the weary you know.

Now you can put that how to magazine on the top shelf, dont need to read anymore about how to paint.

Got to love a garage paint job..

Looking awesome,
Darren

The monster is sunning himself while his better half is getting the loofah rub down spa treatment (wet-sanding).

Not quite, currently wet-sanding with 400 grit and hopefully get it in the final primer/sealer tonight, sand out with 600 grit. Then I could paint - except for my upstairs guests.

Yeah I like Drew Cab too. Nice one notsolo.

Yes I did send the link to the blog page with the HOT ROD magazine pic to the editor of the magazine this morning. I told them I could write my own copy if they needed.

Here is the photo flipped on my computer so you can read it better. I should have done this to begin with.

Drew,
The paint looks great. That Nason is good stuff. I have been using if for years. The best value for the money for sure. It will run right of the panel if your not careful though
Keep up this pace and you'll be driving this truck soon.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

The new missionaries are going to be a no show, so the show goes on!

I remembered to drill out my lower trim holes.

Taped it up after sanding and a little bondo work on the insides of the top rails.

Shot primer until I ran out. Dang. I can already see a few questionable spots that will need a little love and some more primer. I guess I will wet sand it well on Sunday after church and get some more primer on Monday.

Re: ** YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN ** The truck Chevrolet should have built.

Drew, wow don't get on here for a couple of weeks and you redo a jeep and paint the cab of your truck and almost get the bed ready. And that cab......boy oh boy, looks like glass. Great job can't wait to see it when it's wet sanded and buffed. So when does the Drew's paint and body school open.
