Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

Well I had a 67 C-10 I was restoring and unfortunatly had to sell it back in 2005. Then in April of this year, I was able to do a straight trade for my 1996 Chevy Tahoe for a 1972 GMC Shortbed Fleetside with a 94 Vortec 350 in it!!!
Here are some pictures.
Shes a little rough but I love her!
I took it to my Mechanic for a Saftey Check to make it road worthy.Had a LOT of issues but non really major.
Springs have been cut, and rides really rough, but I have plans for Drop Spindles and new (shorter Springs) when $$ allow.
You can click on the link in my Sig to go to my Webpage for my Truck ...."RATIKLE"

Tranz Am,

Very Nice GMC.
I live North East of you in Cobb!
I just picked up a 72 GMC Short Fleet.
So are you gonna put your Beauty in the "Stokes Car Show" this weekend (May 9th) or the Fathers Day Car Show at Julliard Park in June?
Roger

Flip your wheels around, the tires are facing the wrong direction!!

your tires are on the worng side of the truck. They are rotating the worng way. Just put the rights on the left and lefts on the right. Look on the side wall. Should have an arrow that tells you wich side they should be on/wich way they rotate.

Looks good with em

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Trucks

I took to long to edit

The tread on the top of the tire will appear to be pointing to the front of the truck when you look straight down at them. Leaving and arrow pattern on the ground that looks like the truck was driving the other way. (The tread touching the ground will be pointing to the back of the truck.)

Oh, the directional tread is there to make water move out from under the tire. With them backwards it forces the water under the tire right to the middle making it easier to hydro plane.

Sorry for the long explanation.

Pretty Truck Talgberry, that engine compartment is unbelieveable, I like your full glass doors, but no more 2-55 AC for you!
