I agree it is a long trip for a beat up truck...but I need all the big block stuff for my crew cab build, I could just buy it all but this way, it will all be free but will cost me a weekend trip.

Rare beast here. Loaded BB 1972 C30 Cheyenne Super Longhorn, but some of the newness has left it. If I had the means I would definitely take on this project.

How'd you find that one?

Same seller has this one. Maybe buy both!

Don't know if they fit a c20, but beings they're 16.5 they probably do. Seems like a real bargain.

I'd look pretty closely at that one before pullin the trigger. Not a Cheyenne Super by any stretch - and am guessing the body has many more surprises in store than already depicted.

I agree - look at the tires inside the wheel weld, both are pushed back. I'd think its sitting on a 73-87 frame.

One of the body mount pictures didn't look right in the original ad, so I think you may be right on the newer frame....

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Just took a look at the Washington K5. What a shame that trucks rust so badly in the East and Northern states. That K5, with the options it had, would be a very high-dollar truck if it was not so rusty.

If going to restore one as much as they did, why not put a factory drive train in it? And if not the factory, go with the LS conversion....

Beautiful! But $65,000? Not a factory AC cab, at least I don't think so. Correct me if I'm wrong. No picture of the SPID, either. Wonder what this hobby is coming to in the future. I've just added a few thousand to my estimate of what my humble GMC is worth.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Im not knocking the truck at all, its a super nice truck....but id think getting a few small details right would make it more passable as a true cheyenne super. That placement on the super emblem is way off compared to my factory placement. And i cant remember for sure, but i know its been brought up before about the lower tailgate trim being incorrect with the woodgrain chevrolet panel? I found out my tailgate is not original that way on the board. Someone correct me if im wrong there
