Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons
It shouldnt be much different than doing a SFBD. Just cut the frame off the front of a 2wd truck of the same body style, and run boxed tubing back to the kick-up. You could even keep the 4X rear end. just change the front to 6 lug.

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons
A few pics of my tow hoe...I've had it about 6yrs it's evolved slowly and I haven't used it much lately so I put it in the FS section...and after driving it a little bit more lately I'm thinking about keeping it...I love this truck...the problem is I have another major project (last pic) going right now and don't have the money to do the Tahoe the way I want it...

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons
Thanks, it's a 5 and 6 flip with a C notch...looks a little higher because I tow my boats with it and I use 60 series tires with urethane bump stops on the overload spring...I've got overload slam air bags for the back, just haven't installed them yet...when I do I'll take out the overloads and bump stops...if I keep it plans call for Cad tailights, cowl hood, some interior upgrades and a paint job to match the boat (black base with HOK Brandywine Kandy) which isn't finished yet...I've got a buddy that's a great painter, so the labor end is covered but good materiaks aren't cheap...

I know it's off topic...but that's the best looking boat trailer I've ever seen.

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons
Thanks, I modified the original trailer and when I was done the only things remaining were the side rails, axles and hubs...would have been easier to start from scratch......if you're interested PM me an email addy and I'll send some build pics...here's a few pics of the tow hoe in it's earlier life.

Re: How about some pics of 2WD 2DR Tahoe/Yukons
Here's a few...it's pretty much original at this point except for the mats and dash cover...if I keep it that will change...too many projects and not enough money...
