Re: For your viewing pleasure

you're moving right along on that thing. Looks good!

So why is there so much space above the rear axle and frame rail if you're not running bags?

Jlaird, I'm glad you asked that. All that room is for the exhaust. I can't stand running the exhaust in front of the rear wheel. so now I have plenty of room to go over the rearend.

speaking of your exhaust, will you be running the pipes over that x-brace on the bottom of your frame tucking it between the floor of the cab and the frame? i like the idea of the frame protecting the exhaust. or were you wanting to channel the body to get it down into that nice pocket instead? either way, lookin great.

Re: For your viewing pleasure

Man, I go onto google to try and track down why Lou hasn't been on a show in a month (Feb was a busy month for the CST/10 and I, never saw the episode), and I get led right back here! Lou, you were my favorite on the block with your personality. Guess the staff got tired of you messing with their little offices late at night?

Looks really sweet so far.

Hey Lou, I see you have a Pro Tools 105 but I don't see any bent round or square tube yet. Do you have any plans for any bent tube on this build?

Re: For your viewing pleasure

I must admit Last week I did a bunch of work to get my web site up and going I got my Core support, Bumper, Fenders and Cowl induction hood fro Classic Industries. I also started stripping the donor. I did find something that I got 2 years ago I had foregotten all about it The 36 inch Lokar shifter.

I think the shifter is going to look pretty sick. I have a cool knob for it.

I'll get some more work done on it this week.

Re: For your viewing pleasure

Guys before we go any further I need to answer some questions that you guys have asked.

Captain, Fab Yes I do have a Pro Tools 105. I have a die for 1" square tubing I plan on using real soon on this Chassis.

SBTORK, I plan on using the stock bench seat. I do have a set of 65 Mustang buckets just in case. After all that tranny tunnel might be to tall.

Someone I foregot the name asked me about the tranny. Yes the tranny is a Turbo 350, the reasons I'm running it are simple it's smaller, and it takes 15 less horsepower to run. This truck is going to be a driver so I need it to be simple and easy.

Now its time for the shifter knob Slmd92DIME.

I really like the Brain.

I think you are going to need a rag top, I don't think a sunroof would get you out of neutral. I forsee some body progress coming fast the truck is gravitating to the frame...
