New A/C compressor Question.

I got my new aluminum a6 replacement compressor today for my 72 truck. I am using R12 still. The instructions say to add half of the systems oil capacity in the compressor fill plug and the other half of the oil in the low side system. Does anyone know what the total system oil capacity is? Thanks

Re: New A/C compressor Question.

10 oz per the service manual. I'm doing the exact same thing on my truck now.
