Anybody know who this is-was?

Has anybody noticed this signature on their Suburban or Panel? I have a 67 Panel , 68 Suburban, 71 Suburban (none currently for sale). All of them have the Z code from the Fremont plant and all of them are signed on the cowl, one on the passenger side and the other on the drivers. Looks to me like “r” on the passenger’s side and “j” on the drivers. I have a 65 custom cab z code and it is not signed in this way. Just curious, Ken.

HA HA! Just read his bio on google, doesn't mention anything about painting trucks in Fremont but I learned more than I'll ever want to know about Rick James, including that he formed a band in Toronto while AWOL from the navy with a young man named Neil Young!
