250 Inline 6 temp sensor ?

Hey guys, I am trying to locate the temp sensor on this truck but cannot find it. Did it originaly come in the coolant inlet hose ?

This is a 67 I6 250.

Is this the coolant sensor ? Looks like maybe the PO drilled and tapped this new type of sensor ?

Yep, that's the stock location for the sensor; routing of the wire looks stock as well. Terminal on the end of the wire is aftermarket but similar idea to stock.

Do you have a part # i just checked with autzone and they do not have this one. Also the way the wire is attached so the sensor is really cheap. Im sure it is missing something.

Found it

But it looks like it has a nipple at the end of it, how do you hook up that type of sensor ? What plug does it use ?

In the link you posted, the AC Delco sensor also shows a pic of the electrical fitting. It slides over the "nipple" and snaps in place.
