What headers did you end up going with?

Re: LT Gen V headers (L83)

I went with headers designed for a first gen Camaro LT swap from Ultimate Headers. They fit great. Muscle Rods also make some specific for 67-72
I am convinced headers for a sixth gen Camaro will fit also.Texas Speed offers them for 600 bucks.

Hey man, Ive been watching your build... its amazing and I'm jealous. Thanks for the tip on the 2017 camaro headers, may I ask why you are convinced they will fit our truck? Im very interested because they are half the price as BRP. Also they show a 1 7/8" and a 2.0" set. What do you suggest for a stock L83 and why?

Re: LT Gen V headers (L83)

Either will work fine. 1 7/8 can easily handle 7-800hp.
The new Camaro is a little smaller now so the headers have to fit in a tight space.I think they will easily tuck up nicely between the frame rails of our trucks
I would have tried them if I had found them sooner. Your in prime spot to try them as it likely wouldn't cost very much to return.

Thanks for the feedback man.👍🏼 Part of me says bigger is better but I like the idea of having a bit of extra space. I highly doubt I would modify it near toward 700hp.
