Your other 60-70s collectables?
Other than trucks I have few things here and there, but they're just mementos.
During my mid-late teens I had 10-12 florescent posters hung up in the room. Farrah Fawcett and that too, off course. What a body on her right?...Real (*) too, they can keep the high performance Anyway, the posters were toast so I threw them out. Flash forward 30 some years. I had a favorite poster, it's quite beautiful under a black light. Few years ago I thought to search for that poster with little info. to go in..............Well, here's an NOS so to speak. It might be the last one on the planet, but then who else is looking for one? $25 on Etsy. The frame cost three times that, but it will get a do-over, because standard glass is UV protected and compromises the effect. So sorry, I can't show it in its full glory. Made in 1976. I met Batman, Robin etc. in 1966. At the time my cousin was engaged to Adam West. He was a very cool dude. She was a looker alright, not even half his age. I do have a picture with him, but this card is more better.

Got a few old Hot Wheels in a display cabinet. There's a few goodies in there.

Re: Your other 60-70s collectables?
Music from the 67-72 era was outrageously good. I have all my albums. I am very nostalgic about this era and have many items. Drag racing and NASCAR hit their peak (in my mind) in this era and I have collectibles from that. I also have a girlfriend in Portland, OR if I could get her to move! (or I decide to)

Re: Your other 60-70s collectables?
On topic of collectibles, this just popped up on my Facebook. Seems its a 69, I'm too lazy to check. I don't like blue on any vehicle but vintage. Somehow it complimented all of them.

Late 70's and early 80's memories are a bit fuzzy. I guess I have dead cell collection too....

Mostly firearms, tools, furniture, a 1975 Pontiac, and a 1976 Pontiac parts car.
I recognized some of those Hot Wheels in the pic up there! I have one or two myself from my youth. |

Re: Your other 60-70s collectables?
Solving that problem would be a major plus. Hmmm.....

I'm in the process of finishing my "man cave" in the basement for my collectibles. Only problem is that my stuff doesn't stop at the '60's, it dates back as far as 1862. I do have items from the '60's and '70's but most of it is still packed away and I won't have it out 'till I get my room done. I will post some pictures up then. LockDoc

Re: Your other 60-70s collectables?
I don't have the entire set out, but I still listen to a Sansui Quadrophonic stereo. Also have the matching Sansui turntable and an Akai quad reel to reel along with 4 massive Sansui speakers.
There's the cb radios too. Browning, Tram, Cobra and all tubes.
