Addco 239 rear sway bar?

Anyone use the Addco 239? I can't find install pics anywhere but it's listed as a 73+ Truck bar. I also can't find dimensions, anyone know how to locate sway bar dimensions by chance?

That bar is for a C30 leaf spring truck so I don't see it coming close to fitting a C10 coil spring setup. Addco does make a C10 rear bar part number part number 954. They also have a handling book you can down load that is a very good read. About a 100 pages. Look under the tech tab on there website.

I did order the handling book, in paper! I stare at a screen all day so paper is a nice change of pace. How did you know what the application was for that bar? Any way I can find out the spring rate?

I did spot that bar but the bar arms seem too short which makes me think it has a high spring rate. I'd have to mount it in a location not as designed because my truck is lowered and I think the short, straight bars would make that tough. I wish they would publish the specs on their bars!

Re: Addco 239 rear sway bar?

You could call Addco on both the rate and the design of the C10 bar to see if it works OK with a lowered truck. I looked it up in the Addco catalog as the picture looked like a leaf spring bar for a top mount spring. They do a good job of matching there bars in sets front and rear. For what you are trying to do it would be a good option to get the pair. Also if you put a long panhard bar on the truck it really helps the roll center and made a big improvement in the handling on my 66.
