C20 disk brake conversion question

I have a 1970 GMC 2500(young and impatient to buy my first truck) and I'm wanting to convert to disk brakes. I got a set of drop spindles from POL that work on 71 and up. Would this front rebuild kit have everything I need to make these spindles work? Or do I just need the ball joints for 71 to make these work on my 70?

Plus I'll be getting new control arms as well.

The 8 lug stuff is confusing me a bit.
