71 C20 to K20 questions ???

Hey fellas, I'm looking to do a 4x4 conversion on my 71 c20. I've done some research an have found out it best to do a frame swap. So here's the question I have found a few frames but there all under 73 an newer suburbans. Will those frames work? If Im thinking right it should be just mounting new cab mounts an bed mounts...... I have also found a frame under a 3 door suburban it's a 67-72 truck but I'm not sure what model it is to be exact. So I have a few options just looking for a little advise thank you in advance

You know you can swap all the parts over to your frame right? The thing with a frame swap its a big job and using the frame from a different body style might have a different wheel base also. And i have been told the suburban frames are shaped differently on the back half then a trucks frame.

See I've Been told you can swap over all the parts... but it's a bigger job than just a frame swap I believe it had something to do with the e-brake cable ? I'm not sure though .... I have checked the wheel base on the suburban an from what I've found there the same but I'm not sure about the back half of the frame being different that may be the problem.... Thanks for the help bud

Look at some of the builds in the 4x4 part of the forum some have done a 4x4 swap on a 2wd frame.
