Is there a way to mount speakers there with the tank in place ? Any other ideas ,this is for my 72 K10 ,found a great old school stereo for it at a yard sale .

Re: Speakers in cab corners with gas tank in

I have a speaker mounted in the dash and also two 6x9s which are in speaker boxes I built that fit under the stock bench seat. With this set the sound quality is pretty good and I dont sacrifice having to cut holes in my doors to mount speakers.

With the tank still in the cab, you will zero room on the driver side to mount anything. The passenger side would have space to put pretty much anything you'd want to put in on that side.
