single cab steps

Anyone have experience with using these type of steps on a single cab 04 GMC 1500?
Looks like they mount on the "body"? (wondering if that is sturdy enough)

Re: single cab steps

I installed something very similar(might even be the same) on a family members s10. They aren't very sturdy at all. I'm 200 pounds and I didn't want to put all my weight weight on it. The product seemed ok, it seemed weak because of the way it mounted.

Re: single cab steps

one of the trucks i bought had similar little side steps but they were bolted to the rear cab mount. very sturdy. I removed them.
