Green Interiors

Are the green interiors very popular? I would like to build a Green Bench Seat for someone, this one is all vinyl, dark green.

Just curious if people keep their interior green or if they change the whole interior to another color.

Re: Green Interiors

I'm pretty sure the 78 that I had in high school had a green interior. It was originally green/white outside when dad bought it but he had it painted all green. That was a long time ago, but I am pretty sure the interior was green as well. It was around '91 when I sold the truck.

That is a sweet interior. I ran across a blue seat that looks like this green pattern. I really hated trashing the cover. It had the same pattern. I recovered it and now it looks like this.

I have that same seat in my 1979 GMC K35. Here is a picture of a roll of the original material. I hope someday to restore the seat to new condition.

Re: Green Interiors

Just sharing... Most green interiors I have seen and as evidenced here (Awesome seat by the way!!) are light green. I was lucky enough in my 20s to own a '79 SWB Forest green with white stripe truck with a fully loaded FOREST GREEN interior. Power windows, woodgrain door panels, perfect dark green dash, seat, carpet... the whole shebang. It was amazing. Since back in those days we didn't carry a 12megapixel camera around with us everywhere, I never got any photos but it happened.

Re: Green Interiors

My 79 GMC C-35 has the original dark green interior... the seat however, was recovered in black vinyl at some point. Original exterior of the truck is white.
