Where does this spring go?

1972 K10 4 speed.

I have this spring with one end missing. Does this go somewhere on this truck?

Re: Where does this spring go?

I does don't it? Sorry I should have laid something beside it to give some perspective. It is much bigger than a throttle spring. I guess I will take another picture tomorrow.

Thanks

Re: Where does this spring go?

Broken as it is, it looks like a clutch fork return spring

Re: Where does this spring go?

Hard to tell size by that pic. If it's too big for return spring then most likely clutch spring...

Re: Where does this spring go?

I think clutch fork is probably the answer. It was with that pile of parts. Here is a picture with the little throttle return spring for relativity.
